Back from Anniversary Trip
Well got back from our Anniversary trip yesterday and we had a great time. We stayed in a cabin in the Smoky Mountains and pretty much spent the weekend playing in the hot tub and shooting billiards.
We went on a couple of really nice drives up through Cades Cove and saw a bunch of cool historic stuff and some beautiful scenery. We drove across the mountain into Cherokee North Carolina and spent about a half hour in Harrahs Casino there, but it totally sucked because they only have video play (slots, poker, etc), no table games.
They actually had something that was a mix of live Blackjack and Video blackjack where there was a real live dealer and you set at a felt table and bet with chips. The only problem was there were no real cards! You had a little built in video monitor in front of each player and you would tell the dealer stand/hit/double, etc and she would hit these buttons. Talk about a crappy way to simulate a live blackjack game and still control the house win rate! Rigged!
Here are a couple of nice scenery pictures I took over the weekend (Click to enlarge).
I did play some $2/$4 Short Handed last night and won about $52 then played a $20+$2 and went out 67th when I pushed with an OESD and flush draw and missed both.
Current BR - $1262
