OK Time for a Week Break

All I can say is WOW I'm done with poker for a week. Maybe the variance Gods are catching up me from my drunken weekend a few days ago.

I just cut my bankroll in 1/3rd. Down $2000 in 10 days. Dont expect any more updates for a few days. I am beyond steamed.

Here are 2 key hands.

I need to walk away for a bit and come to terms with the fact I blew $2000

Current BR $2310

Sick...both of them. Just plain sick. Especially the OESD + Top pair one. What is that guy thinking?

Damn, those are brutal. That's one nice thing about lhe, the bad beats are a little less destructive. I hate it for you, but I know you can come back and grind it out to meet your goal. Don't give up!

I had a hand almost identical to your AA vs. QQ hand. I had KK and pushed all in, the flop came with two queens giving my opponent quads. Simply amazing.

Dude, you should take a break, you seem to be changing from being a poker player to a gaaammbler.

200NL is a little high for a 3 grand BR. I think you would say so yourself if somebody asked on the forums. We won't even go into your bad night...

Pull it together dude!

first of all did I not say I was taking a break? but thanks for the advice again.

17 buyins is a proper NL bankroll. gambler? AA is going to be a 80% favorite everytime unless by some miracle you are up against another AA then its 50/50. I would have still ended up all in after that uncoordinated flop so the fact it was preflop doesnt change anything.

the 88 hand was just ridiculous and I would play the same way every other opportunity given the same situation.

I have fessed up and admitted embarrasment on my drunken night.
