3rd in 42 man PL Omaha H/L MTT

Just played $20 PL Omaha H/P MTT on FCP. Finished 3rd for $134. Got it all in with crazy blinds with 99KK and other dude had AAxx, meh.

Bad Luck and a Bad Beat

MAN! I was posted to take down last nights Negreanu Open. Sitting with about 6000 chips, highest was about 10,000 with 31 left to go. I pick up KK and its raised 600 to me 100/200 blinds. I make it 2000 to go and the big blind (chipleader) goes all in for like 8000 more. I was 80% sure he had AA, but being the big stack I thought there was a chance he was trying to bully, but alas I call and he has AA and my Kings dive and I'm out in 30th, meh!

Later that night I play in a private Daniel Negreanu Stud H/L tournament. I know NOTHING about this game, but decided to play anyways. 36 people I took the worst beat I think you can take in this game. I started out the hand with KKK and boated up on 6th street and the other player hit running Aces on 6th and 7th street to have Aces full over my Kings full and I was out in 11th. Again that pot would have put me in 1st and poised to win it too.

I feel like my tourny game is pretty strong right now, just getting unlucky in spots.

Finally a MTT Win!

Lost another $100 or so since that last $800 tilt job and was down to $1200.

Just played a 90 person $30 MTT and somehow managed to finish 1st good for $810

Sick Day - $16 WSOP DS/ $20 MTT Cash

Meh, after a full night of being up with some sort of stomach virus causing me to shit and vomit like crazy I took the day off from work.

The past 2 weeks I have been on a horrible downswing with cards, down about $700.

I played a $30 SnG on Stars and cashed 2nd which was good for $81 then I decided to enter a $15 + $1 double shootout which paid 1 entry to the $650 WSOP Super satellite on Pokerstars.

I won my first table fairly easily and the 2nd table was a pure grind. I won 2 key coinflips 55 vs AQ and AK vs JJ and was able to chip away until I had won the 2nd table.

I took the $650 W$ and used www.sellyourseat.com to get $540 Cash.

I played a 140 person $20 MTT on FCP where the top 10 paid and finished 6th good for $182. Key hand was my AQ vs AK and my Q flopped but the AK rivered a flush on me and I was out.

$750 Sick Day and helped me get my bankroll back up a little bit.

My sons baseball team is 0-3 but they are playing really well and all the games have been pretty close. He got a homerun in the last game and won the gameball. He was VERY excited about that.

My daughters softball team has only played 1 game, but they mercy ruled the other team 12-0. My daughter pitched one of the 3 innings and got 2 strikes outs so daddy was proud :-D

Full Blown Sports Season

Spring Sports have officially started which takes up about 5 nights a week for me.

My daughter runs track and also plays softball. Usually there is 1 track meet a week and 2 softball games per week. Plus I am on the Softball Board of Directors which typically means I am at the ball park 2 or 3 nights a week doing administrative or maintenance stuff.

My son is playing baseball for this first time this year and I am coaching his team which takes another minimum of 2 nights a week. My son is 6 but is on a 4,5,6 team. Have you ever tried to coach 4, 5, 6 year olds? Meh! The 4 year olds out there twirling, dancing, throwing rocks, eating dirt, not wearing their gloves, etc etc. Good times!

Bored With Blog

I havent been updating my blog because I havent felt like it, hehe. Maybe I'll start it up again later, but for now I just dont have any desire to keep this thing going.
